Dear friends,

Seltie Health and Education Support Organization "SHESO" is a charity
organization formed as a tax exempt under Section 501 (c) (3) of the IRS
code to help the people we left behind in Ethiopia.

As most of the members of this organization consider the Seltie Region to
be our ancestral homeland, and since we are keenly aware that this region is
severely under developed, we give first priority for the people of the Seltie
region in our efforts to help their health and education system.

Seltie Health and Education Support Organization has a clear vision,
Mission and Objective as stated bellow:

Vision
To see the people of the Seltie region, free from poverty & backwardness
and SHESO aspire to be a forerunner in the support for health and
educational development.

Mission
To support the development endeavors of the Seltie people in the areas of
health and education and basic skill training and by mobilizing resources
from members, supporters, donors and other sources.

Objectives
1.        To alleviate the poverty and backwardness of the Seltie people by
promoting health and education and distributing reference books, learning
materials, computers and sets of encyclopedia to schools and by sending
necessary medical equipment and basic medical materials to health centers.
2.        To increase the coverage of primary education and improve the
quality of secondary education.
3.        To undertake basic adult and child education programs to mitigate
the prevalent illiteracy in the region.

We can’t solve all the region’s problems, but we can make a deference.
